Good Day All.
As the weather is getting very cold I need to get the heating working on my 1988 230TE Estate.
The 1st thing I did was to remove the duo-valve and make sure it was working, and was clean.
I then moved onto the water circulating pump, I removed this from the car, and removed the end cap and was unable to turn the motor, I think striped down the hole motor as much as possible, and soaked the hole lot in GT85 for around a hour, after this time I was then able start moving the motor back and forth, after working the motor for around 10 min's I was then able to run the motor from my bench power supply, I left this running wile soaking in the GT85.
After this the motor did start freely, but a week later the motor has stoped working again, so I need to buy a new one.
So my question is where can I buy a new water circulating pump, and what kind of price am I going to be looking at.
Thanks for your time.
Best Regards.
