Listing on behalf of my boss at work.....

He's just picked up an A class '99 plate 1.4 and the guy he bought it from didnt have a spare key so i'm hoping for some suggestions on where to get this done.

Before i got my merc, I had a VW golf GT TDI and to get a spare key for that, i bought a fob with a blank key from someone on a VW forum for £45, then had to get the blank cut at a key cutting place. I then got the fob programmed through someone else on the forum using VAGcom software. Is this the kind of procedure that can be done for Mercedes or is it a case of buying from a merc garage?

Any help would be great, thanks

Hello laura,,you cannot do this on an MB. A new key will have to be ordered fro your MB dealer. You will need to take the V5 and some proof of identity.

MB's are too hard to steal, and not like many others. It will set him back circa £200
