where will my E300D wiring fail first?

Hi
until recently l thought that a diesel might escape the worst of the dreaded wire loom problems of mid 90s W124s but it seems this is not the case.

I want to inspect the wiring harness to see if I have a catastrophic failure pending. What are the most common locations for trouble to show itself first so I can check those first?
