Which discs and pads for a R170 ?

I've just bought a beautiful looking R170 2001 SLK, being new to the forum I've posted a couple of minor questions but this is my first major one. There is some scoring on the front discs and it feels when braking as if they are grabbing with a soft vibration. I want to replace discs and pads, what is the best make and option and what sort of costs can expect ?

For the size of the rotors on your car it will not make much difference if you keep to MB or take the Brembo or Zimmerman route

The Mintex extreme by TMD are good,they are OE to MB or you could take the EBC route with their pads and rotors
