Hello Everyone,
On my (W126) 1987 420 SEL I noticed that in a certain revolution range my transmission boggles before engaging into the next highest gear. This usually occurs at about twenty to twenty-five mph with my foot performing a normal acceleration.
Sorry can’ t give you the RPM range since I still have to fix my tachometer and that will be an up coming thread!
If I drive more aggressively no boggle.
If I drive less than normal “grand paw mode” no boggle.
I have recently changed the transmission fluid and filter along with the vacuum controlled modulator valve.
I don’t think this is normal or is it?
