Which MB Diagnostic tool?

Hi All, bought myself an iCARSOFT V2.0 on the basis that the functions listed on the ads etc. would help with all the DIY servicing that I will be doing but am very disappointed to find that most of the functions like ABS and EPB aren't catered for on my vehicle, E class 212.201. Is there another recommended device that would have more functionality for my car? Thanks in advance!

SDS (sdconnect) is superior. But since genuine is difficult to find/own, other alternatives for SDS are not allowed to discuss here.

What you want to do with your vehicle? Just read the codes or do some deeper coding?

Mercedes own Star system is without doubt the best.
But that’s out of reach to most DIY mechanics.

Next best is a good Indy or without being shot a Mercedes Dealer.

Are you sure ABS and EPB aren't supported? I'd be very surprised.

Hi to all that replied, the various maintenance facilities are on the tool but when I drill down into the menus to select my vehicle the 212 has very little coverage, Lost Kiwi i can confirm the ABS and EPB aren't covered on my model, nor the injector function. I just wanted full functionality to help when I service the car.

if yr keeping to benz for the foreseeable suggest a version of star , will cover its cost ,easily, provided you "learn " how to use it .
