Which ODB scanner?

I am looking to buy a ODB scanner for my own W204 and to help friends.

I didn't know this would be such a mission

Currently i am thinking of:

- Xtool d8s
- Launch X341 Pro Elite
- Topdon artidiag Pro

Couple of things, after the update periode i will not buy new updates. I will only use this for couple years old cars. But everything (all options) will still work right?

Android 7 vs 10. Both are already pretty old, isnt that an issue?

Which one would you guys go for?

Have a look at iCarsoft, an MB2 or MB 3 will cover your Mercedes or they do a multi manufacturer one.. have a chat to the guys at UKParts direct here in the U.K.

Also consider Autel AP200. Phone based with a Bluetooth dongle.
