Which Sprinter van, ( Oh, and hello folks )

Greetings, Merc - folks,..

First post on this fine forum,. So howdy, one and all,.

I'm in the market for a decent second-hand Sprinter, and although
I've done a bit of research, I'd still appreciate some advice,..

I've recently parted company with my trusty old Mk II Ford Transit
three litre V6, which had been used for surf trips and also shifting
around my drum kit, as I play in two bands,..

It was very quick, as I'd rebuilt the engine some years ago with a few
fast components, but I didn't really need all that speed and power TBH.

I've been toying with the notion of a 316 sprinter, as this seems to be
the ' King ' of the range, engine power-wise,.. But, I probably only need
a 311 if I'm being sensible.
I don't need a great long-bodied version either,....

Any advice would be warmly welcomed,..
