Would someone look at their EPC & see if there should be some kind of cover over the 12 volt connection on the rear SAM of my R Class please, it just looks a little exposed. I've have expected to see something over it like on EmilysMum's Smart's SAM.
    TIA

(I'd intended to ask last time I was at MB ...... but forgot )

Is this what you're looking for? Item 80, part number A251 826 0024?

No. On her Smart's SAM, where the main 12 volt cable bolts onto the post, there's a little red plastic cover that clips over it.
    Like this one ......

The 12 volt connection to/from the rear SAM on my car, just seems as though it should have something similar ........ of course I might be wrong - it has happened before!:lol:

Thanks, it doesn't look as if there is. MB probably think that part no 80 is good enough ....... if it's what I think it is, it's a piece of fabric/carpet to cover the whole thing - I have one in there already. ;);)
    Thanks again
