Ok

We have found a 2003 A160 Avantgarde 36,000 miles main dealer service.
black, 16 inch alloys looks nice condition, manual. £6500

Does this sound like a good deal. Is the manual likely to be a problem in the future.

The manual ones are a bit harder to sell on but otherwise a good car. Watch out for a petrol smell when pulling up! Seems to be a common fault.

Would have prefered the Auto but price and spec to good to miss. This petrol smell is this a Mercedes recall or just a fault that some A Class seem to suffer from.

Hello,

My wife has a A210 lwb evo and out of the Merc range the A class in one of the very few that I would say doesn't have to be auto.

Ours is great goes well and yet can return 40mpg and the room inside it its huge..

thanks

Thanks for that, Im sure it will be a good purchase and with the support from this forum it makes owning a Mercedes a lot easier.
Quite looking forward to the A Class should hopefully collect it next week end.

Hello All, New member here, great site, have taken the liberty of emailing you details, basic ones) of our A160 Elegance Auto, just over 30,000 miles on it, should you be interested or indeed anyone else!

I didn't mention price, but not so much as what you are looking to pay!

Ive ordered 4 sets, a set for the CL, SLK, 190 2.6 and the soon to be A160 possibly.

I can see the set on the A and SLK lasting about month if not less.
