I've been offered a set of alloys wheels from a 500 SL. They are 16inch but an identical pattern to the standard alloys found on the W126 S-class.
I'm told they are 8J x 16” (H2 ET34).
Will these fit a 1988 500 SEL that I'm about to buy all being well?
Your help most appreciated as I'm new to the Merc scene..............Neil:)

Thanks

Cheers Malcolm, the chart was helpful. Can't find the wheels I've been offered on there or even the model W129?
If the offset is bigger , does that mean the wheel will sit further in? How does that work then? Is it the measurement indicating how far the inside rim edge hangs over (inwards towards middle of car if you will) the centre hub fitting? If thats the case and I've not confused you with my logic, then I can see a larger inset will sit the wheel into the car further........Neil
