Will it ever arrive???

My son ordered a CLA 250E Premium Plus through his companies car scheme. Original delivery date was Jan 2022 This was then pushed back to April 2022. This was then pushed back to May 2022. He has now been told that it will be delivered in August 2022??? Will it ever arrive ??? And what will it be missing???

Quite a bit, potentially based on fleet experience via Arval.
A colleague has decided to cancel his new company car order, take the cash and PCP a 12 month old model with everything on it he wants and he can have it Saturday (his date for his car was pushed out to Summer at least and was having options deleted ....)

His was on the forecast fleet list that I used for the insurance renewal in January.
Dunno what it was.

New car supply doesn't seem to be improving......?

When I was buying my CLA last November I was told that Premium Plus would not come with Multibeam LED which is a standard feature of that spec.
I bought a Premium but would have been pretty annoyed to miss out on them had I been buying a Premium Plus.

I saw something somewhere yesterday that the semi conductor issue expected to go on until 2024.

Car dealers were told to experience a different state of play now after a few booming years as used car prices start to drop.

My son ordered a Taycan (last July or August IIRC) for May delivery. Last month it was pushed back to end July.......

If the supply issue is expected to go on until 2024, rest assured you will not see much, if any, reduction in used car prices for some considerable time yet, I see the strong used car prices staying with us until at least 2025/6 should the new car supply problems exist as predicted
