...fit into a C Class that wasn't originally supplied with electric seats. I understand the seats will physically fit, but what about the electrics?

I have the chance of a set of seats from a c43, including the door panels, but not sure what electric switches and wiring would be required. Does anyone know if the standard C Class (mines is a 1994 C250D) comes with some of the wiring loom in place, but just needs the switches etc.

Also, If the wiring is a no go, could the seats still be adjusted/used manually with me disregarding the electrics that will be in them?

Thanks in anticipation.

A good auto eletrician should be able to wire it up for you, For a Price though

Don't think you can use them manually

Whilst wiring looms tend to be standard between models as you say, If I remember right, the C43 was a facelift C (post 97), whereas your's is a pre facelift. They did make a number of technical changes such as the addition of kit, use of the electronic key etc. Whilst these don't affect the seats, I wouldn't be 100% certain that they didn't change anything on the seat front. Also, I imagine that post 97 cars probably have the seat prewire, I don't believe that any pre 97 cars had electric seats (correct me here!) so the prewire may not be present. Also, didn't the AMG have memory seats? - in which case, you may need the memory module and wiring too. Sound's like a headache, but anything can be done.
