I've just received the wind deflector for my R129, and until the good weather comes then it will sit in the boot. But I think I read somewhere that there should be a hard cover that clips over the deflector to protect it whilst in the boot, covered in the same coloured carpet as the boot lining (as opposed to the black carry case that I've seen)
Am I correct, and if so what do they look like as I've never seen one (any photo's??)
I have never seen any advertised on ebay, and I dont seem to have any luck with Mercman etc when I try to find parts (more cosmetic parts than mechanical)
Are they still available through main delers?
I know - too many questions for a Saturday morning, but if my car should have it - THEN I WANT IT!
