Has anyone fitted after market wind deflectors that go around top of side windows ?

Had them on my Defender. Lots more wind noise, not much benefit.

To be honest think there more for styling  than actually doing owt, plus they can scratch the top of the glass and very rarely fit exactly, but apart front that there great.;)

I had some on a car years ago (pre air-con as standard days) - they were quite effective and I could leave the windows open without buffeting or rain coming in. I've always been fussy about my car so although I cannot remember damage, I doubt I'd have used them if they were causing damage.

The design of the deflector attachment and it's shape will determine how good it is and you'd have to try them to know.

They must have been loud to hear them over the rest of the Land Rover :D

The best ones I've saw don't fit inside the window channel,
they stick on the door frame, saw a new shape C class with them on, looked really good, said Mercedes on them
so could be official Merc deflecters, don't know what Merc you've got but perhaps worth a phone call. Or good old eBay. :)

    Thanks
Had stick ons on me 406 years ago lol
    They were good on there
As for ones that slot into window channels had them too on different cars some were good didn’t interfere with window operation at all after couple of days so not sure now
Had climair in my galaxy as that is what ford dealers sold and people tell me heko are ok just dont use the rear window ones lol
Will look around more eBay only list heko ones.
    Thanks.
