window electrics after glass replaced

Hi,
E300TD S plate 1998. Autoglass replaced the passenger front window and the window will not stay up unless I hold down the switch as the window reaches the top. The autoglass guy said there is some reset for this and that I should contact merc dealer.
I have tried holding the switch down for 30 secs as someone advised but this has not worked.

Hi,
The reset procedure should need to be done everytime the cars battery is disconnected or the power to the windows or sunroof has been unlpugged.
Cycle the window to the fully down position and fully press and hold switch for approx. 10 seconds, then repeat the procedure with the window fully up. Do this as nessacary to all windows and roof.
