Dont know what car you have got but it can mess up locking and Radio etc.

On most cars the antenna and remote locking is in the rear window. Its a listed problem

Thank you all - nwill investige - but new tint films normally do not muck up the locking/gps/radio/phone/etc.

i had a renault Laguna (New shape) as a company car couple of years ago .............that had a "Chromatic" (Sp?) windscreen & windows my portable sat nav nor my mobile would work anywhere inside the car I ended up getting a stick on GPS mount for roof & winding the window down when I made a phone call (usually in a howlin gale!!!!!!!!!)

It was great when the office wanted me though ........"Sorry I had my windows shut!!!!!!!!!!!"

In North America they were stopping the metallised windscreens as there were too many problems with the toll road tags not working.
