Hello -- I have a 91 190e 2.3 and one of the rear windows won't go all the way up. My son pulled down on the window as it was going up and it has not worked right from that point on. The motor seems very strong and the window goes up and down with no problem, it just won't go all the way. The window stops about 2'' from the top of the frame. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide. Lance

i would try opening the rear door, and applying gentle but firm pressure with both hands on either side of the pane of glass ass someone else presses the 'up' button in the front of the car assuming that these are electric windows ?

if not try the same pushing and pulling up the glass

if that doesnt work theres probably some mechanism to reset the 'memory' of the electric windows and by your accounts it thinks it has 'reached' the top of the window when infact it hasnt...

i dunno how though,

cheers

Not sure if it will work on your model but one known way is to press down on the window button - keep pressing and hold for >10secs after it has gone all the way down. Then hold up & for >10 secs after it has gone all the way up.

Good luck.
