Windows and Central Locking problem

Hi,

I recently purchased a new key for my c180 1999 and the problems started. The key was purchased as the old one would not start the car. Now My front electric windows do not work, mirrors and the central locking also. However, when i disconnect the battery and re-plug it everything works as normal for a couple of days. I am confused...Is this an ECU problem or Key. Please help... any ideas will be appreciated!

I feel that the car could have lost something from a SAM, if the fault was on one side only, that would have been a door controller. See what I can find later
