windscreen colour

I have a 95 C250 in light metallic blue (don't know the name of the colour)

The windscreen has a blue sun strip at the top but I can't work out what colour tint is on the glass

I have held white paper against it and I don't know if I am a bit colourblind but sometimes it looks greeny and sometimes blue

anyone know

its cracked and autoglass are supposed to be replacing it

after other dealings with them though I thought it best to be on the safe side and tell them what colour it is

they made a right town halls of fitting the windscreen in my Mk1 golf

after waiting in all day for them with glorious weather like this, they have only just turned up and they brought the wrong colour windscreen

phoned Stockport who never got back to me, then spoke to the guys in Macc

its green with a sunstrip, which is what I told autoglass, who then turned up with a blue tinted windscreen without a sunstrip

They make a 'reet ol'cobblers of fitting my ML windscreen too - badly sealed and let water in.!!!

This might be a really stupid question, but, why did you get them to do the job after they had already screwed up on one of your cars previously?

You would think that Insurance companies would allow the safer option and offer the Main Dealer as an alternative, wouldn't you?

Mind you, can't think that Main Dealers would offer a 24/7 callout.

So - we are all stoofed and have to put up with shoddy Autoglass

Not at all. I use a local company and it works out that I don't have to pay anything. for a replacement screen.

,Auto glass turned up to change our clk screen,after many calls to inform them of model year hey turned up with wrong colour screen.grrrrrr.

told em to get on there bike....

Gone to Rac and have got it right fist time. blue tint, blue sunscreen clk elegance
