Me not having breathing gear and doing the last double coat,, by the time I had got round the car twice,,I did not care a dam about anything, and I would crawl out from the fumes and dust and sit outside to sober up,, then when I came round you start thinking,Oh dear I wonder what its like.
After going back in the air was so dense with thinners that the whole paint job had flowed out leaving a perfect finish,, I seldom used masking on most cars the expensive ones as I would gut them right back to a shell

That looks quite a fine job there ..I take it you werent using waterbase paint... what was the colour match like, I would have expected to blend that particular colour to get a good match.. but full marks

In answer to the 2 post above,, I did not mind the cellulose so much, but 2K is lethal to do indoors without a mask, its poison and sticks like glue for years.

When I sprayed 2K for the first time, it was for the side panels on my 124 when I converted it to the newer model.

I held my breath and sprayed one piece, then ran outside and waited for the air to clear. The drying / curing time is much longer with no oven. I still have many tools still looking blue with the dust that settled on them 18 years ago

That 2k stuff is so sticky until it dries, the worst was when you are standing still for a few mins and you try and walk but your shoes are stuck to the floor and you walk out of them, A towel or cloth works for a short time and the spray dust
