The new wheels and tyres I just fitted to my 110 are working well in the winter weather :)

No, Northbound, they closed it just after I went through

They have to close m/ways now because of the amount of people who drive through winter on summer tyres!:lol:

We were in Germany in snow far worse than the above (whole motorway looked like the extreme right hand side of Blobcat's photo) - Volvo V70 on Quadraxers. Like driving on tarmac.

Worst bit was changing lanes if the snow had rutted - the crrrrruuuunnnnccccchhhhh! and steering kick was a little unnerving but it never came unstuck.

Did you know that my cat, Fat Charlie, is nicknamed "Blobcat"? I reckon if I shaved him he'd look like Jabba the Hutt.

I went to pull out of a side road to a bypass, and there came a little gap, I pressed the go pedal and the car did not move, so I had to wait for the next gap and try a little more gently, the road were wet but plus 10c;)

No I didn't, if you click on my user name you can see "Chartreuse" who was very affectionately called Blobcat which is wher I got the inspiration for my forum name. It's kind of stuck with me now and BL08 CAT is on my Smart :D

Does your car not have a LSD?
Mine has the electronic equivalent that brakes the spinning wheel which helps a bit.

It was a known danger spot, and I did not look at the dash, sure the triangle comes up up at the slightest wheel slop or spin.
