Hi forgive me if this is the wrong forum I'm looking for some winter wheels with tyres not sure what size to go for currently have 19inch alloys which probably not the best size in snow, anybody selling any maybe 17inch or can point me to a good supplier in West Yorkshire drop me a reply thanks

I’d take a look at “mytyres” it’s a German based website. You can enter your car details and they‘ll show a list of available wheels and tyres. (It’s where I bought my winter wheels and tyres from)

Only note of caution is that it’s now November so prices of winter tyres are on the up. September is about the cheapest time to buy.

Ideally for winter tyres go as narrow and small rim as possible though if the handbook has recommended sizes use those in preference.

Try looking at Camskill once you've found the correct size or perhaps alloywheelsdirect

W213’s work really well with 17” winter wheels and tyres. I ran them on mine in some very winter’s conditions.

225 45 17 is what I had

I've 19" winter wheels on my E-class C238. They also sat on my previous E class W213. These are original Mercedes AMG wheels with Nokian studded tires, I switched from summer to winter tires in the last week of October as it gets freezing here randomly from Oct>March. By law we have to use Winter tires December 1st to March 31st if the road conditions deem it necessary. We get a lot of freezing mornings (after snow or rain the day before) they are totally needed. If you want me to share the specs of the tires I'm happy to do so but I think studded tires are not allowed in the UK.
