I had my first frozen wash morning 2 days ago, so I'm overdue the filling with a better wash fluid that doesn't freeze.
In the past I've filled with stuff that says it's good for low minus temps, put it in the freezes and sure enough it freezes, even neat.

Any suggestions for good stuff?

I have always used the MB winter. Expensive but always try to get a complimentary bottle with any purchase at the parts counter.
Not had a problem, nor a large frost for many a year

The Mercedes winter screen wash additive is good, I've a few 1ltr bottles I was given on services.

Alternatively just mix at a higher ratio 50:50

Lidl used to do a screen wash good neat to -60C or -20C at 50/50, unfortunately they have not had any for a couple of years so my stock ran out. Currently using Prestone.

Don't forget the potential for jelly in the reservoir when you change screen wash brand! I've been lucky with the change from Lidl to Prestone, but others have plugged the system up with a change of brand.

.
I too always used MB Winter Fit (and Summer Fit, now that's it's back in stock, although I still have some left from before the hiatus a few years ago) ... As above - some freebies with services, etc, but also about £20 for a box of 6 direct from MB - with my annual mileage, it's a bargain

It used to be that 1L of good vodka was about a quid in Russia,
the local moonshine was pennies, but did turn a few alchy's into zombies I'm told.

Anyways by the time I've diluted this stuff, even at 50%, it's the cheaper option over here.

Thanks for the thoughts.
Btw, we had a bit o' snow last eve, now it's falling with some enthusiasm. It looks like winter has arrived.

Even down here in the softie south (East Kent) we woke to a white landscape this morning - and chaos on the M20 London bound due to a jacknifed lorry between J9 and J8, queue back to J10 and probably chaos on the old A20 Ashford to Maidstone as well as a result. Mostly melted now, but still a little on the S204 windscreen on the driveway.

I haven't bothered with winter tyres since the Nokian WR C3's had me thinking my wheel bearings were shot as they wore to 5.5mm
I pushed my Roadstome's t'other day at 1 degree and a little damp, no loss of traction. While that isn't a snow test I'm impressed enough to chance a little longer.

If it's bad I can usually just stay home anyway.
