My wiper arms have become faded and milky, I’d like ideally to paint them .
Anyone done this or have any suggestions as to what products and processes would work. ?

Just seen this. I did the job on my X Trail; a rub down with scotchbrite, de tack with white spirit then repainting with- as Jon says- Halfords bog standard black rattle spray can.

Have you just tried T Cut? I've had success with similar wiper arms on other cars in the past. :)

No I haven’t, didn’t give it a thought, all I’ve done is back 2 blacked them but it doesn’t last.

Have a go with polish first & progress to TCut if need be. It's something I've noticed on various wipers on various makes of cars ... they must just have the very minimum of paint applied.

VT, Have a look at page 70 of the "So What Are You Doing With Your 12 Weeks Off" thread - did it to Mrs RH's wiper arms on her MINWEE, using Simoniz Tough Paint. (Originally bought to tidy up her removable tow hitch, doesn't need primer, just a light sanding, and a coat or two). Was very pleased with the result.

I have a pic of wipers back on car, will rummage through phone and find pic and add it here in a minute...!

Just to add to your options... I use this for rubber seals but other dark areas come up a treat too...

Was very easy. Light sand, (even lighter sand to finish if you wish), wash, then wipe down with a degreaser, allow to dry, then I did 2 coats (mist coat, then top coat, 24hrs apart), then 24hrs later a light coat of Sonax just to look after it.

It's supposed to be pretty tough when cured, so hopefully resist elements and stone chips a bit better than factory intended!
