This is a blinder, went to Leicester today, not out of choice!!!, no offense to anyone living in Leicester. Popped into the MB dealer to buy some new wiper blades for my CL500, gave the chap the model etc, he said "are you ready for this" ......................£128 inc vat for two wiper blades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


From where Im standing thats a P1$$ take......... Anyone got any suggestions before I buy the wife a squeegy.

I used them for both my cars, even got an aeroblade conversion for less than half what the dealer wanted for 2 blades for our C3 dealer, £42 these guys £26 for areoblades, very very happy, as they are fantastic..

Slip into Halfords and they sell the Bosch rubbers on their own, they do not cost much.

Do a search for the ebay seller "MrWiperblades". They don't call him that for nothing!

looks like they have Bosch in stock for £23.45 inc vat, result thanks for the advice, just think 15 years ago running an expensive motor would have been,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,expensive, this interwebby thingys good init.

yes no surprise. thy will be aerotwins.

you can get the rubbers - not that size from halfords though, i enquired a while ago and they dont do them that long.

I got some rubbers from ebay.de, very cheap i think abut 8 quid for 2 pairs.

aeros often come on ebay every now and then from genuine (ie non store) sellers, i got a set brand new for 7 quid i was well chuffed.

Just been looking online for a replacement blade for my W124 - found Bosch Superplus @ £9.99p or Champion Aerovantage @ £10.99p, presumably + VAT & p & p.

Is there much difference in quality/effectiveness, please?

this is for aerotwins, yes they are expensive.
I purchased the aero twin rubbers from ebay.de.
On aeros i dont see the need the change the whole plastic arm as they are pretty rigid, c.f to convetional wipers.
