Can anyone help with this one - the wiper motor fuse keeps blowing. It manages a few wipes when I replace it but then blows again - a short somewhere?? - the intermittent setting hasn't worked for a while - could this be related?? tricky when it rains this??

116000 miles don't want it to die yet

The chances are that the mechanics have become too tight, it needs lubricating. do a search and you will find the instructions on how to do it.

Wow one I can agree with. I had a rattle on a Rover 416 wiper so tightened everything up . Yes it kept locking and not working so went back over it and loosened the fittings some. Cured.
