Just a thought for all those who`ve had problems with their wipers... use rain-x on the screen until the wiper gets fixed. In heavy rain at speeds over 30mph you really can see clearly without any wipers at all. It makes you feel smug on the motorway that everybody else has their wipers running at full pelt, while your`re watching those little drops of water whizzing away!

I use it,its very good, I wonder if it works inside the glass for anyone who has condensation problems.

Dont use it inside. It makes things worse. Better to just open a window and crank up the blower.

rainex is good, but inevitably you do use your wipers as low speed and this tends to rub the coating off. I used to use it, found it good for about 4 weeks, depending on the season.

They used to make a Fog-X (may not have been the actual name) for the inside of the windshield. It worked pretty well for a month or so before it needed to be reapplied.

Rain-X is great as long as you keep reapplying it often. In my experience, it didn't take long to start wearing off in the wiper travel areas. When that happened, then the wiper started stuttering. That couldn't have been good for the wiper linkage :(

If you ride a bike put it on your visor works a treat.

Eh. It says on the bottle. Do Not Use on Plastic!

You are taking a risk mate. It could shatter and blind you!

Not recommended.

I only use rain-x on the side windows and rear windscreen, found that using it on the front windscreen causes the wiper blades to chatter across the glass. Had the rain-x removed from the front screen using glass polish, and the chattering stopped. The glass polish ( cheap Carplan stuff ) also helped the raindrops to bead and flow away from the glass at speeds above 30mph.

I always use bosch blades and never have any stuttering using rain-x, infact i`ve found it to smooth the wiper action. Yeah you do have to re-apply it, but i think it`s worth the effort. You either like it or hate it, really it`s personal taste i suppose.
