Wipers Malfunctioning Error Message

Hi Guys,

Has anybody else had this error message?

E220 AMG Sport Coupe 2014.

Wipers come on do a couple of cycles then stop.

Any ideas?

There have been loads of electrical problems reported over the last month or so down to low battery voltage. A combination of cold weather & lack of use of the car due to Covid.
Charge the battery fully & then see what happens.

Just had a brand new battery 2 week ago, so I guess it’s not that. Thanks

Check that the wiper relays are well seated in the fuse box.

I can see any info on the web in relation to this error message, which astonishes me to be honest.

2 weeks is plenty of time for even a new battery to be depleted in cold temps and limited long drive use. I would check battery.

new battery or not. Its the Voltage you need to check.
