Wiring diagrams?

Anyone know of any wiring diagrams for an E320 estate W210 model?

I need to find a wire that's live on the key insertion or the first ignition switch. Currently tapped into the second ignition switch for ICE which isn't any good as I discovered this morning. When I stop the car the TVs all go off!

I would feed the screens straight from the battery (fuse each screen independantly as close to battery as possible) via a relay with the coil fed from the amplifier trigger feed from the stereo.
Reading your post again and i,m a bit confused about what you are saying regarding the feed.
If you are looking for a feed you could try the cigarette lighter or interior light feed as a trigger for the relay i certainly would,nt be putting additional load apart from a relay coil, on the existing circuits, knowing how many electronics are on the vehicle.

I take it you mean from the fusebox rather than directly from the battery? Where would be good to get to the interior light feed for a relay, wire colours, locations?

Guess I'm just being lazy putting it into the nearest loom of wires! Currently it's at the front of the passenger seat, so shouldn't be that hard to get it to the fusebox, I assume that's where all those wires go anyway.

That would hopefully also help with my RF interference when the power is on the screens.

I do mean straight off of the battery, on my car I wired in an additional 6 way fuse box, straight from the battery (this feeds my DVD multi-changer, digi tv tuner, and amp trigger feeds) via a relay whose coil was fed from the Amp trigger feed off of the Head unit.
As far as interference concerned "ICE" wiring where ever possible should be kept separate to the cars wiring, this includes any RCA's and/or speaker cables, as a voltage and/or static can be induced from the cars cabling, make sure your RCA leads for your screens is of good quality, as this could make all difference in getting a good quality picture.

Fortunately, interference in that direction isn't a problem for me as the units are entirely self contained - the only RCA is between the two screens so I can have the same picture on both should I wish (two player games, DVDs using the car stereo via the FM broadcast etc..)

I will look at the possibility of wiring a new fusebox in from the battery. Hopefully finding a slightly easier way of switching with the ignition than going behind the stereo for a feed.

Cheers for the advice.
