I have a '97 C200 Elegance, I am thinking of fitting a cd multi changer in the boot. There is a blaupunkt radio cassette fitted, not sure if this is the original factory fitted unit. Is there anything pre wired for a changer in the boot? Or if I want one do I have to wire it completely?

Many thanks

Hi,

Pls check your car against the attached web site;
http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb0.asp?TP=1

Then select Electrical Equipment (82) then Cable Harness for Radio (320) and you can see the cables. No. 53 is for the CD changer.

If yours is a C200 020 then below is the correct page

http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb2.asp?TP=1&F=202020&M=111%2E941++++++111%2E945&GA=722%2E422722%2E602&GM=717%2E417717%2E418&CT=F&cat=44V&SID=82&SGR=320&SGN=14#065

Pls note the details at the bottom of the page which list out which models and dates the options are fitted to.
