Paid 1850 for it. I think thats reasonable nearly FMBSH 1 lady owner since 1999. Fingers crossed.......... Didn't reall fancy the VW anyway esp as it needed cam belt. Looking forward to many happy miles of Merc motoring.

:) yes I did see that before I bought and I even paid for the change details service (only £2.50) I think those figures are slightly overrated but still, a bargain indeed. very happy!!!!!

A 98 W202 C240 was my first Merc also when I bought it three years ago with 98K miles . Two years of happy and mostly trouble free motoring [crankshaft sensor let me down a long way from home]. Enjoy.............

Have just driven the car home. Very very pleased with it. Everything seems to be fine so far..... Will take it for a proper run at the weekend and report back!
