Wood kits

Does anyone have any exeperience or recommendations for after-market wood kits ? I've a basic burl kit in my ML, but looking to add a gear knob and door handles. Mainly because the java leather is looking tired and dirty.

I've the wallnut gear leaver from MB. Prefer leather, or half and half. Its a matter of your own taste. On some MBs the half wood steering wheel is good, but some people consider it a bit naff on smaller MSs and a bit Japanese (lot of older big jap cars had them fitted as an extra in the 80's).

Prefer the all leather one on SLs. Also replacement is pretty costly.

Think the half & half (wallnut & leather) will look well on your ML.
