I want to buy a workshop manual for my E220. The only one I´ve found here in Spain covers MERCEDES (W124) 200, 230, 260, 300 GASOLINA .
Will it be of any help?
What are de diferences between 200, 220, 230?
Thank you!

Workshop manuals

Hi aleron

I faced the same dilemma with my M-B. There isn't a Haynes manual that covers my particular 'kompressor' model (see signature) so I bought the manual that came closest to the one I wanted (W202). I wasn't disappointed because >95% was applicable to my car.

I am not familiar with the E220 (W124) but if the manual you have in mind describes other W124 models of the same age, you will find the manual of some use.

I supplemented my Haynes manual with electronic ones widely avaiable on eBay.

As for the differences between the 200, 220 and 230 you'll find quite a few owners in this forum who will be able to help you.

REGARDS Phil
