50k and or 4/5 years I believe , I do mine at 18months to 2 years normallyYup. 97000 miles with full Mercedes service history. BUT... I think they must have overlooked the air filters on every single service...
I did a couple of "between service" jobs today - air filters, fuel filter + installed a swirl motor emulator. I was absolutely staggered when I saw the state of the air filters. I replaced the cabin filter last month and that was in a pretty shabby state as well...
They have never been done pal , everI thought it was 2 years anyway... Those are in such a state, I can't even believe they were done 4 years ago...
New style filters are even smaller . I checked mine at 15000 miles they were pretty clean tbh. Depends what roads you drive I guess and how many miles covered .They get filthy in no time on om642 v6 diesel. I think they are very undersized for the cubic capacity. They’ve probably been changed on time. Believe it or not I have seen worse
Have you actually looked at the photographs? Every fold is crammed full of dirt and debris. It's up to you whether you want to take the trouble to double-tap on the photos but don't post such dismissive comments until you ARE prepared to do so.get out of here that's just a bit of leaf litter - which is down to where or conditons where you drive
they haven't been in more than 12k or the paper bit would actually look dirty
Well, let's just say you're in a minority.
I've changed enough air filters in my 38 years of car ownership to know that you're talking complete tosh. View attachment 73733
He’s not long bought it , so that was the previous owner‘s car use . But absolutely on the drains .Do you live in the country side . That's alot of rotten leaves in there , some even turned to clay ( I'm a treble tapper ) . I'd be pouring a boiled kettle and fairy down the scuttle drains also tbh.
I live in a village in Telford; this is all on the previous owner. I know he lived in a rural area of Shropshire but no idea whether his house was out in the countryside...Do you live in the country side .
