Question for GAD: have you managed to increase the rev limit?

Loadsa torque is OK so far as it goes but this car still has 46bhp less than my old (remapped) BMW 335i, which would rev up to 6000rpm+

The problem, of course, with a low rev limit is the box is obliged to change up much earlier, thereby putting a bit of damper on progress.

The diesel variants have large ratios so although its rev range is lower the gearing is higher!
