Hi, looking for some advice please. I have a 2018 SLK which has only done 16,000miles and the aluminium covering on the drivers door handle is coming away and is rough edged. I took it to the local dealer who have said not their problem as it is just out of warranty. I’m disappointed at the poor quality, had a 15 year old Mercedes before with no issues. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It appears your only option is to buy a new door handle from the dealers and either have them fit it or get an independent (indy) Mercedes workshop to fit it.
