worn propshaft coupling on 500sl

hello does anybody know how i can tell if my propshaft couplings are worn on my 500sl?

down and dirty

the easiest and best way is ramp it up and get under with crow-bar type thing and give them a jiggle. there should be little play fore and aft or side to side. check all the bolts are tight while you are down there.
