Worst drivers live in Chelmsford

BRITAIN'S clumsiest drivers live in Chelmsford, according to a survey just released.

Nearly 40% of the town's drivers admitted having scrapes and collisions while motoring on roads and car parks, and 27% said they had not owned up or offered compensation after damaging another vehicle.

Brighton finished second in the Autoglass survey, with Bristol rounding out the top three.

The towns and cities with the clumsiest drivers were:-

1. Chelmsford

2. Brighton & Hove

3. Bristol

4. Cardiff

5. Manchester

6. Southampton

7. Liverpool

8. London

9. Birmingham

10= Cambridge and Edinburgh
