Wot, No Roof :(

Hello everyone,
i own a 1991 300sl Hard / soft top, 1 small problem, my electric soft top has stopped functioning ? and Today ( tuesday ) Mercedes are coming to pick it up asnd fix, i know its a little late for ant help here, but ive only just found this forum so... if anyone needs any info as what happens next, as in how they mannage to fix it and Costs just message me here and i`ll tell all , if ive any £££ left for the Internet, when theyve finnished,

Ouch, not good news, they will want to change the soft top module, about £1500., if they do, you can get your one fixed much cheaper elsewhere.

as for a cheaper unit, any ideas where from mate ?

There are firms that will repair or exchange the unit. When you get the answer from MB, we can take it from there.

I`m Back ;0)

Sorry for the late reply Malcolm, but BT upgraded me to 8 megs, but decided to take 10 days... and more to sort it, so i was on and offline like a chip fryers Panties ;0) but im here now, and of course Mercedes got hold of my roof, replacing a £30 Relay ( as priced by them on the Invoice ) but mannaging to charge me £450, but at least its done ....
