Hi,
Would these R171 rims fit my W124 estate?

I just bought them for the tyres which are nearly new to put on my CLK rims but wondered whether these would fit straight to the car?
Thanks Toby

I would check out the figures from the Chris Murray site.

Hi, I think the size should be ok but just wonder whether the bolt pattern is different or will they need different bolts to my 2000 CLK rims?
Thanks

Hi, I've got the wheels home today and the numbers in the wheel are 7J x16 H2 ET34 (part number a1714010902). Does this mean I will have to alter the bolts I have as when I popped a spare set I had into the bolt hole of the new wheels they looked too long?

If this is the case would buying standard R171 bolts do the job?

Thanks for your time.
Toby

**UPDATE**

Hi have been sent this info:

'The newer MB chassis wheel and hub setups use a 14R seat with a 14M bolt. Your 124 hubs are 12M thread diameter and your stock lugs are 12R seats and too long as well (they would damage things). As noted in my earlier post you need custom bolts that mate a 14R seat with the 12M diameter bolts and in the proper length; since your offset should be fine you just need them the same length as the stock 171 wheels.'

Naturally the next question is whether anyone knows someone in the UK who sells such a bolt?
Thanks again
