Would you plant the right foot on a speed limitless German Autobahn? Would you bring it to the max?

Did it (brought my MB myself from Germany), but couldn't get the my max (243km/h) because traffic and I believe locals didn't push at maximum yet bcause it was March. But got 217 km/h according the GPS. And between Schleswig - Hamburg my average speed was 156km/h.

I have been 170mph on the back of a bike in France. It was very very scary !!!!!
I was only 22 at the time and thought it was time up

I was fortunate enough to have an R107 500sl at 21 years of age. A good few years ago, when there were far fewer cars on the road.
I reckon it might be possible  to do an indicated 150mph from where the a38 becomes the m5 on one side of Exeter to the motorway services on the other.

Doing 155 in that car feels just like 70 to 80, it was very stable and no sensation of speed at all,,, Lilian normally hates anything over 30, but she did not say a word at 155 :D:D

You have to be very aware of what is going on around you, it’s often the actions of others that can make this sort of thing end in mess. I'm all for it but wonder about the mentality of others sharing the road. I've often thought of a two tier driver's license, normal and advanced.........

Totally agree. I've been an advanced driver for many years. Whilst wringing the last few kph out of the old girl I had to move over for an Audi Estate !! Takes a bit of planning .....
