claims that the 7G-TRONIC exists in two power categories ? one rated to 700 Nm for 8-cylinder engines and another rated to 400 Nm for 5 and 6-cylinder engines.

whereas the C320CDI with 7G-TRONIC has 6 cylinders and 510Nm of torque

which is a link from the UK says that the C320CDI will have a particulate filter but it will not have one for the UK Market (cf MB Product Team)
