X164 GL 320 Stuck in Sport Suspension Mode

Hi,

Car is level and drives ok, after about 10 mins the car changes to Sport mode, and I get the Picture of the car and an up arrow with Malfunction.

Can anyone advise as to what this is and is it costly.

Possibly a level sensor has gone but you’ll need a diag session on star to confirm the proper fault,
Quick find might be to go around and try spraying up all the level sensor arms just to maybe rule them out

I have this issue right now. When changing a faulty airbag I noticed the strut was leaking at the time but left it.

I ran my icarsoft and it came up with code 5220 and specifically y52y1 indicating a failed strut (the same one the was leaking).

I think it puts it into sport mode to harden and take some load off the strut.
