Xenon Hid Conversion Kits - Thoughts or experience?

Just wondered if anyone has tried a kit such as:

and if so how were they, or if not has anyone any thoughts? I was under the impression that Xenon lamps had different reflectors? also I wonder is the lamp failure circuit would still operate, I assume this senses the amount of current drawn per bulb therefore a change in this would most likely render this inoperative
