Xenons or halgen?

How do i tell if my C250 estate 2009 has xenons? My dipped beam bulb has just went out . Thanks

Do you have a thumbwheel adjuster on the lighting switch panel? Then halogens

Do the headlamps dip and raise when you first turn them on and no thumbwheel? Then xenons.

There would also be high voltage warnings on the bonnet slam panel if xenons fitted.

If you look at them (when they're on), they are very white, with maybe a hint of blue.

you can get 6000k Halogens also so the colour is not a good indicator of bulb type
