Yaw rate sensor

The yaw rate sensor has failed on my 2001 SLK320 Part No A 003 542 23 18 and the cheapest I can find is over £200 used, I have read some where on the forum that other part numbers will work, I have found the following on e-bay

A 002 542 72 18 Q01 off a W203 C180 2002

A 163 542 00 18 off a ml class 163, or clk class 208

will any of these be OK as the are a lot cheaper

Ive got one forsale for £25 removed from a 1998 W210 Avantgarde but not the same numbers your displaying, my number is 000 542 65 18. The 1635420018 isnt a good number for you car, 0025427218 is.

Just an update I manage to get a Yaw rate sensor part no. 002 542 72 18 from e-bay for £50 fitted in about 15mins and seems to be working fine.Thanks for you help.

When you say failed, what do you mean?

BAS/ESP light on all the time, started with the one of the front brakes activating, or the yellow triangle flashing before the BAS/ESP light coming on, then the finally staying on all the time. I knew it wasn't speed sensor or brake light switch as cruise control worked fine, I was due a service and this was diagnose, replaced with one off e-bay and has been working fine for the last couple of days, touch wood

Hi All,
I am getting the following errors
C II20 Rotationing speed sensor for ESP
and
C1527 Unacceptable ESP control which indicates that the YAW sensor needs to be changed.

My current sensor numbers is A 002 542 94 18

I find sensors with different numbers on eBay , could someone advise if these are compatible to my sensor?

A 002 542 94 18 Q01 it has Q01 at the end ?
A 002 542 72 18 Q01 it has 72 instead of 94 and Q01 at the end ?
