The Ponton was never a looker IMHO. It was the German version of the British "Spud Car" styling of the fifties and sixties. Still, the owner seems pleased with it.

As I remember most cars in the 60's were 6 volt. I could be wrong.
Thus anything would be an improvement but I do wonder if cars that age are exempt lots of things?

If it has an AMG63 engine the electrics will have to been upgraded to 12v to run the control modules and ECU
