- W204 C-Class 2009 2.2CDI (OM646) | W639 Viano 2007 2.2CDI (OM646)
Hi all.
We've just taken ownership of a well used 2007 W639 Viano. The need to transport the two kids, camping gear, bikes, plus the odd additional single parent / friend required up-sizing from our Subaru Outback 3.0 H6 (I'll miss that car ). If we get on with it, we'll likely spend more and go for a newer, lower mileage Viano / V-Class.
It took me a while to find this variant as I was after one with at least two captain's seats in the back, with the table. Most seem to come with two three-row bench seats and no table. This one has four captains seats and the table. Happy days! Well, until we need to transport more parents....
As we also intend to use this for mild campervanning in the UK (we have a large A-Class motorhome as well, but that's best suited to Europe), we'll be looking for swivel plates / seat bases for the front seats and side awnings and so on. But it's early days. We got the original fridge with it, which spins up, but not sure if it actually works, yet.
I'll no doubt have questions as I go about tidying it up and understanding it. I'll hopefully be able to help out others as I have done on the Subaru forums.
See you around.
