Yet another newbie with a question

Hi, joined today after picking up my 30 month old S320 (what a beaut!) last month. Looking forward to being a member of MBO.

My question> My S320 has a built in phone system (cradle in armrest details on screen etc) that needs a Nokia 6310i. I was using a much newer, smaller and better Nokia (which included some features I need like speaker phone) and wondered whether anyone did a converter or connection that would allow me to continue using the newer Nokia but still utilise the original cradle and/or integrated system - or do I have to stay with the older phone technology?

Any Merc dealer can supply you with a cradle to fit the newer phones and they keep a list of which phones there are cradles to suit. The cradles just snap in. Good system.

Mercedes keep updating the list and try to choose reasonably popular models. I have the Nokia 6230i in mine, which does most things.

Good luck with the car. Great drive. Is yours 320 petrol not 320cdi?

Useful to put model and year in your signature, like mine and many others, as helps when you have queries and saves you spelling it out each time.
